Sewing Workshop

Sewing Workshop

Established in 2017, the Foundation's sewing workshop is equipped with several industrial sewing machines, a riveter, a cutting table, an iron and other professional equipment.

In this equipped space, the Foundation has hosted various projects. In 2020 and 2021, thanks also to various collaborations, hundreds of face masks were sewn and distributed when the Covid19 pandemic broke out and that kind of safety device was unavailable.

The Foundation is open to initiatives and projects aimed at making the best use of our resources by offering opportunities to emerging designers.

In 2021 and 2022, various tailoring projects were entrusted to Teresa Corni, a young professional seamstress, who still collaborates with the Foundation.

Since March 2023, the sewing workshop has been used for the project 'LALAGEATELIER - Clothing Devices', run by  Sarah Conforti and the Hòferlab Cultural Association.
