By virtue of the agreement with the Municipality of Chieri signed in 2019, the Foundation has its registered office at the Imbiancheria del Vajro, in via Imbiancheria 12 in Chieri, where various historic textile machinery is preserved and accessible to during openings on the occasion of temporary events.

The Vajro Imbiancheria was first built in the 16th century, when it was built near the Tepice river, outside the city walls, as a site for the whitening of yarns and fabrics woven by the members of the Fustian Guild, whose Statute dates to 1482.

With the advent of the industrial revolution, the methods of whitening textiles changed. As a result, the Imbiancheria del Vajro was abandoned and neglected.

Then, thanks to funding within the framework of a European project aimed at preserving industrial heritage, it was restored in the 1990s.

In 2021 and 2022, thanks to the project 'RestART!', promoted by the Municipality of Chieri and supported by the Fondazione .Compagnia di San Paolo Foundation, important restorations were carried out at the Imbiancheria del VajroCompagnia di San Paolo Foundation, important restorations were carried out at the Imbiancheria del Vajro.

Today this complex  And  one  bright, suggestive and welcoming multifunctional space    .
